Gin Lover’s Tour to the Isle of Bute!
Join us aboard the cosy Hasty Two for a delightful 6-hour adventure sailing from Holy Loch Marina to the picturesque Isle of Bute.
You and up to 7 of your friends or family can enjoy a one-hour trip to the Isle of Bute, arriving at the main port of Rothesay where you can visit Bute Yard for lunch and the Isle of Bute Distillery for a *Gin Tasting session.
The distillery is celebrated for its innovative and award-winning spirits. Winner of two gold medals at the prestigious 2022 Scottish Gin Awards, including “Pink Gin of the Year” for their exquisite Heather Gin and the world’s first “Distilled Gin of the Year” for their captivating Oyster Gin.
Each gin is meticulously crafted around signature botanicals sourced from Bute and its surrounding waters, combined with traditional herbs and spices, resulting in unparalleled flavours. Delight in the opportunity to witness the magic first-hand as you explore Audrey, the distillery’s cherished copper still, at Bute Yard, on an exclusive tasting tour.
If time allows, you could go on to view the magnificent Victorian toilets, visit the castle or have a quick round of mini golf.

The Isle of Bute Distillery also offers a tasting package for groups of 2-20 people at £22.50 per person.
The package includes:
- A flight of 4 locally distilled Isle of Bute Distillery gins with the option to change to a beer flight – local Bute Brew Co
- A platter of delicious Bute Smokehouse products, including:
- Oyster gin smoked salmon
- Smoked trout
- Smoked cheese
- Salmon pâté
- Oatcakes
- Gather deli chutney, local Deli salad, pickles, gherkins, Bute Smokehouse speciality cream cheese, grapes and apples
Optional extra:
- Distillery/Smokehouse tasting talk: Learn about the production process and sample a variety of spirits and smoked products for an additional £10pp
